Research
As a postdoctoral researcher in the lab and with Notre Dame's Just Transformations to Sustainability Initiative, I am interested in how thermal shifts in seasonality and day-night cycles create joint challenges and opportunities for biodiversity management and environmental justice under climate change. A core part of my research in this area will draw from leading and facilitating quantitative research in a cross-institutional, data-driven synthesis working group that leverages thermal performance curves. This collaborative research builds on my broader interests in how the seasonal and daily timing of recurring biological events (e.g., autumn leaves falling, frog calls at night) serve as a basis for addressing consequences of environmental change and human disturbance.
