Research
I am broadly interested in understanding the health co-benefits of environmental adaptation efforts, specifically in regard to reducing the risks and burdens of environmentally-mediated diseases. Through pursuing graduate research, I aim to blend my interdisciplinary background in geography and environmental health with the study of disease ecology. In the Rohr Lab, I am interested in studying transmission dynamics within the schistosomiasis disease system through a mix of spatial epidemiology, remote sensing, and field surveys. My curiosity extends through many fields within the planetary and global public health spaces, and my goal is to produce evidence-based strategies for informing global policy around health equity and sustainable development.
