Research
My research primarily focuses on the generation of novel mechanistic species distribution models (SDMs), to better project range shifts of species of economic and health concern in relation to climate change. My current work primarily deals with snail intermediate hosts of trematode parasites, and with pests and pathogens of agricultural concern. In my previous research I used correlative SDMs to predict distributional shifts of crop pests of concern to USDA-APHIS.
