Research
My research primarily focuses on the generation of novel mechanistic species distribution models (SDMs), in order to predict range shifts of species of economic and health concern in relation to climate change. My current models predominantly focus on arbovirus vectors in the United States and crop pests of concern in Africa. In my previous research I used correlative SDMs to predict distributional shifts of crop pests of concern to USDA-APHIS.
