B.S. Biology with minor in Mathematics, Sam Houston State University, 2023.
Research
My research primarily focuses on the generation of novel mechanistic species distribution models (SDMs), with the goal of better projecting range shifts of species of economic and public health concern. My current work at Notre Dame focuses on the integration of thermal traits into SDMs of agricultural pests and arbovirus vectors. In my previous research I utilized correlative SDMs to estimate the invasion risk of foreign crop pests of concern for USDA-APHIS.
